Terms of Service

Effective 18 September 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Alrighttech ("we", "us") for the use of the SalonBook apps and web app ("the service"). By creating a salon or using the app you accept them. If you use the app as staff, the salon owner accepts them on the salon's behalf.

1. The service

SalonBook is a point-of-sale and back-office tool: it records sales, shifts, expenses, staff pay and related figures that you enter. It is not a bank, a payment processor for your customers, or an accounting or tax adviser. Figures are calculated from what your staff enter, and you remain responsible for checking them.

2. Accounts and roles

  • An owner creates the salon account with a valid email address and is responsible for everything done under that salon, including by staff signed in with a PIN.
  • Keep your password and device secure. PINs identify which staff member is at the till; they do not protect the account from someone who has the device.
  • You must be at least 18 and authorised to act for the salon.
  • One salon account is for one business location. Contact us for multi-branch arrangements.

3. Trial, plans and payment

  • New salons receive a free trial with all features. When it ends, the salon moves to the free Go plan unless you subscribe to a paid plan.
  • Paid plans are billed per salon, monthly or yearly, in Nigerian Naira through Paystack. The price shown in the app at checkout is the price that applies.
  • Subscriptions do not auto-renew silently: when a period ends you are asked to renew. If a paid plan expires, the app becomes read-only for that salon until it is renewed; your data is not deleted.
  • Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable once the plan period has started. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice in the app or by email; the new price applies from your next renewal.

4. Your data

You own the business records you enter. You grant us a licence to store, process and back them up in order to provide the service. You are responsible for having the right to enter other people's data (staff and customers) and for telling them about SalonBook where the law requires it. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the service for anything unlawful; attempt to access another salon's data; interfere with or reverse engineer the service; upload malicious files; or use the social inbox to send spam or messages that breach Instagram's or TikTok's terms. We may suspend accounts that breach these rules.

6. Third-party services

Payments are processed by Paystack, and optional integrations connect to Meta (Instagram) and TikTok. Their terms apply to those parts of the experience. We are not responsible for their availability or changes to their platforms.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The app keeps working offline and syncs later. We may add, change or remove features, and we may discontinue the service with at least 60 days' notice, during which you can export your records.

8. Termination

You can stop using the service and delete your salon at any time from the app or via the account deletion page. We may terminate or suspend an account for breach of these terms, non-payment, or where required by law. Sections 4, 9 and 10 survive termination.

9. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss of data caused by events outside our reasonable control. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Lagos State, unless mandatory consumer law in your country provides otherwise.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and, for material changes, notify owners in the app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the new terms.
